4.30am Woke up to hear rain crashing against my window and a forecast of gale force winds for the day.. And yes I'm playing 100 holes in a day at Ashford GC for Abbies Army.
Picked my caddie up at 5.0am and headed to MacDonald's for breakfast, only to be told we were 10 minutes early !! this delayed our start. By 5.30am we were off and we had a target of 2 hours a round.
We managed to get 3 rounds done by 11.30 am and gave ourselves a 20 minute rest. We head back out for the last 2 rounds and 10 holes at midday.
Finally finished last hole played at 5.00pm. Was very glad to see the club house again when walking up my last hole. As I think if I had set myself 101 holes I may have collapsed!
I am still collecting my sponsorship money but its around the £500 mark. Thank you to everyone that donated and for those of you that I still have not managed to see for the money.. I'm coming to get you!
Still looking fresh after over 12 hrs golf..amazing achievement . Well done Tom
