'I want to be...' Day September 2014

So hard to believe but this September will be Abbie's third Angelversary!

It is also CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH throughout September in the UK. To do something positive during the month and fund raise for children's brain tumour research, we are looking to co-ordinate a simple dress up day that requires little planning throughout our local primary schools and nurseries....if you'd like to help us support research into the biggest cancer killer of children we'd love your support!

JOIN US

At any chosen date throughout the month we'd like you to hold an  'I WANT TO BE' day, to commemorate Abbie's death and also acknowledge that like so many others she did not get to grow up and fulfil all her amazing potential and promise. All we ask is a minimum donation of £1 per child to go to the school or group that we can collect locally or have donated to us.

We'd also love to see your children's #Iwanttobe 'selfie's' which we will share in an album on our social feeds on Twitter and Facebook. So please email them or post them to our Facebook page. Any text donations would be gratefully received by texting CURE70 with your £ amount to 70070.

If you are a local school or group then please REGISTER with us at amanda@abbiesarmy.co.uk or contact us through the 'Contact Us' tab and we will do our best to organise for a photographer to visit and you may even see yourself in print! We shall also send out an A3 poster and balloons for you to highlight on your noticeboard.

Too many children are losing their lives due to brain cancer... 1 child DIES EVERY 3 DAYS from a brain tumour of some kind in the UK . Survivors are living with chronic conditions as a result of harsh treatments for childhood cancer. NO cancer group suffers more from a lack of treatment advancement than the childhood cancer community. Please help if you can, your support is so appreciated. xx
